Abstract

Orthopedic stomatological treatment involves not only replacing defects in dental rows or alveolar processes with prostheses but also preventing their further destruction or recurrence of the disease. Thus, a prosthesis is considered a therapeutic tool, the rational application of which allows for the implementation of therapeutic and preventive measures. Any prosthesis or orthopedic apparatus made from certain materials is, on the one hand, a therapeutic tool and, on the other hand, can manifest itself as an undesirable (adverse) effect. Orthopedic dental treatment is now widespread. This is due to the large number of patients with dental diseases: increased tooth wear, wedge-shaped dental defects, partial and full tooth loss, caries, and dentoalveolar anomalies.
